About Me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my practice which I established in 2001. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in Crystal Lake and online.

I use evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic, and Solution-Focused Therapy—to help clients build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical tools for everyday challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, validated, and empowered to grow.

My style is collaborative and client-centered. From our first session, we’ll set meaningful goals and work at a pace that feels comfortable and effective for you.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling from National-Louis University (2010) and bring extensive experience from my time as a therapist with Children’s Home and Aid and as a former school counselor at both the middle and elementary school levels. These roles deepened my expertise in supporting youth and families through life transitions and emotional struggles.

I’m passionate about helping others cultivate resilience, confidence, and lasting well-being. Whether in-person or virtual, I offer a compassionate and confidential environment where meaningful change can begin.
